Taryn Manning is opening up concerning the backlash she acquired over her position within the new thriller Karen.
In a brand new interview, the 42-year-old actress stated she was “attacked by white ladies” due to the position.

“I used to be, type of, taking it on head first and, like, responding to folks, you recognize, ‘I’m so sorry you are feeling that approach,’” Taryn shared in an interview with Dr. Elizabeth Lombardo for Mr. Warburton journal.
Taryn added, “I used to be attacked rather a lot by white ladies who felt that I had betrayed my very own race.”
Within the film, Taryn performs Karen White, a “racist white girl who makes it her private mission to displace the brand new Black household that has simply moved in subsequent door to her.”
